TP Roll Flower Stamps
I love flowers. We have just sowed a garden bed full of mixed florals & I can’t wait to watch them pop up!
Ages: 5+
I have also always loved flower artworks. As a kid I remember trying to recreate Monet’s water lilies. His fascination with painting blooms stemmed (lol) from his love of growing them. I’ll definitely be looking back over his work for inspiration in the coming weeks.
Here’s a sweet & simple start. Perhaps a little more influenced by Warhol’s ‘Flowers’.
You will need:
⋒ TP rolls or kitchen rolls
⋒ Scissors
⋒ Paint
⋒ Paper
1. Snip your petals into the top third of your tp roll (you can experiment with different widths!)
2. Spread the petals out so they will sit flat.
3. Dip your stampers into paint or apply with a brush.
4. Stamp away! Add a blob of paint in the centre of each flower, a stem & some grass & you’ve got yourself a garden!
This one makes a great wrapping paper option too!
Have fun!
