Easter Egg Carton Animals

Super cute storage idea for little choccy eggs & a great excuse to recycle some cartons!

Ages: 6+

You will need:
⋒ Egg carton
⋒ Scissors
⋒ Tape
⋒ PVA glue
⋒ Black pen
⋒ Coloured paper

For the animals:
1. Cut out two egg cups, snipping off any rough edges to make sure they stack neatly.
2. Sit the cups side by side & tape together.

For the bunny:
1. Cut out 2 ear shapes from an egg carton cone, cut two small slits in the top of your bunny head & poke them in.
2. From your coloured paper, cut out two white circles & a pink triangle nose to glue on the face.
3. Add two black eyes.

For the chick:
1. Cut out a triangle from orange paper & glue on for a beak.
2. Add two black eyes.
3. Cut out two triangles from an egg carton cone & glue on as wings.

Add as many details as you like! If working with grey cartons you may want to add a coat of paint. Little mates may need help with assembly. Best suited for school age kids comfortable with scissors.

Have fun!
