Chalk Paints

A great use for all of those stubby, broken pieces of chalk!

Ages: 2+

You will need:

⋒ Sidewalk chalk

⋒ Cornflour

⋒ Water

⋒ Paint brushes

⋒ Kitchen grater

⋒ Containers or a muffin tray

1. In separate small containers or your muffin tray, scoop 2 tbsp of cornflour.

2. Grate approximately 1 tbsp of chalk in with the cornflour.

3. Add 2 tbsp of water & mix each paint colour until the chalk & cornflour has dissolved.

4. Pop in a paint brush & find a smooth area of concrete to decorate!!

For more vivid colours simply add more chalk! The paints will go on quite pale & as they dry, become more vibrant! We love watching this magic happen.
