TP Roll Chrissy Cards

Time to spread some festive cheer with these up-cycled Chrissy cards!

Ages: 4+

You will need:

⋒ TP or kitchen rolls

⋒ Scissors

⋒ Paints

⋒ Textas or paint pens

⋒ PVA glue

⋒ Cotton wool balls

⋒ Corks

⋒ Blank cards or cardstock

  1. Gather your rolls & using your scissors, cut diagonally up then down, creating a triangle shape. You can create 2-3 triangles per tp roll (see picture).

  2. Paint your triangles! Red for Santa hats, green for trees.

  3. For the Christmas tree: Cut a cork in half & glue at the base of your triangle to create the tree stump.

  4. For the Santa hat: Tear a cotton ball in half, rolling one half into a ball & the other into a long “woolly slug” shape. Use your PVA to stick them in place as the pom pom & hat trim.

  5. Apply glue along the edges of the back of your hat or tree & stick in the centre of your blank card. Hold in place while it begins to dry.

  6. Add details using textas or paint pens, including ornaments, holly, a festive message, or perhaps even Santa’s face!

These would also look great on gift bags! You could also make mini versions for gift tags!

Ho, ho, have fun!
