Salt Painting

This salt painting activity was a perfect way to brighten our rainy Saturday morning.

You will need:
⋒ PVA glue in a squeezy bottle
⋒ Table salt
⋒ Watercolour paints
⋒ Card

1. Draw your design using the glue.
2. Cover with salt, tipping off the excess. Give it a little tap to ensure all loose bits are off.
3. Dab the salt with watercolours.

The watercolour paints bleed into the salt making a really pretty effect! The colours are even more impressive on black card.
