Mixed Media

I think watercolours & oil pastels are my fave mixes media combo. Vibrant colours, resist effects & relatively mess free. Layer upon layer, worked on between snack breaks & games with her sister. The end result is a colourful explosion that always looks worthy of a frame. Sometimes something as simple as offering two types of media to work with is all you need to drum up some creativity.
