Magic Candle Painting

Reveal secret images with this simple invitation to create!

Ages: 3+

You will need:
⋒ Old candles
⋒ White paper
⋒ Watercolour paints & brushes

1. Setup your paper, candles, watercolour paints, water & brushes ready to go.
2. Draw a picture, write some letters or just scribble a picture with the candles.
3. Dip your paintbrush in water & then swirl it in the paint until it’s relatively thick.
4. Paint over the picture & the wax will resist the paint, making an image appear just like magic!
