Eggshell Seedlings

Save your eggshells from brekky, pop in some soil & seeds & watch them grow! Once established, plant straight into your garden! The shells add additional fertiliser & pest control.

1. Try to crack your eggs 1/3 of the way down, leaving 2/3 of the shell to plant in.
2. Add a drainage hole to the base of each shell using a pin or nail.
3. Fill shells with soil.
4. Pop in your seeds of choice, pushing down gently.
5. Use a spray bottle to water as directed.
6. Put them in a sunny spot & enjoy watching them grow!

We added smiley faces! But decorate anyway you like.

Once they are ready to transplant into the garden, gently crush the shells at the base & pull away a few shards to help decomposition and the roots to spread.
