Egg Carton Decos

We completed these little Chrissy cuties over two days, letting the paint dry overnight. They now have a home on our mantle but you could always add some string & hang them on the tree!

Ages: 8+

For the 🎄 you will need:
⋒ 3 egg carton cups
⋒ Green paint
⋒ Gold pipe cleaner
⋒ Small pom poms
⋒ PVA glue

1. Paint your egg carton cups green.
2. Once dry, glue & stack the cups on top of each other adding a small piece of scrap egg carton in between each cup so they sit a little higher.
3. Decorate with pom poms! (Dip in glue & stick)
4. Create a star shape with the pipe cleaner, poke a hole in the top of the tree & pop it on top.

For the 🎅🏻 you will need:
⋒ 3 egg carton cups
⋒ Red paint & your choice for the face
⋒ Cotton balls
⋒ Small pom poms (white & pink)
⋒ Red paper
⋒ Scissors
⋒ Black texta
⋒ PVA glue

1. Paint 2 of your egg carton cups red & 1 the face colour of your choice.
2. Once dry, glue & stack the cups on top of each other adding a small piece of scrap egg carton in between each cup so they sit a little higher.
3. Make the Santa hat by cutting out a small circle from the red paper, making a slit & folding it to form a cone shape. Glue in place also gluing cotton balls around the brim & a white pom pom on top.
4. Add cotton balls around the face for a beard, the pink pom pom for a nose & draw on some eyes & buttons.
