Blow Painting
Blow painting with straws is so easy & can be done over & over again with different results!
Ages: 3+
You will need:
⋒ Liquid watercolours or watered-down food colouring or acrylic paints
⋒ Straws
⋒ Watercolour paper
⋒ Eye droppers
⋒ Tray or baking dish (optional)
Place your watercolour paper on a tray or, alternatively, put down some newspaper or butcher’s paper down to avoid a big mess.
Snip a little hole halfway up the straw to prevent little ones from sucking up the paint!
Use the dropper to add paints to the paper.
Blow at the paint with the straw, forcing the paint to move & spread.
Repeat with more colours, then set aside to dry.
Once dry, these artworks make beautiful cards, gift wrap or tags.
