Binoculars

We made these a couple of weeks back & it was so quick & simple that I didn’t even have a chance to photograph the steps!

You will need:
⋒ 2 x toilet rolls
⋒ Coloured paper
⋒ Tape
⋒ String
⋒ Hole punch
⋒ Cellophane

Optional first step: Cut 2 small squares of cellophane, slightly larger than the toilet roll end. Cover one end of each roll, securing with tape. This adds a fun, colourful element to the binoculars! Then follow the steps as normal:

1. Tape your two toilet rolls together.
2. Wrap your coloured paper around the width of the binoculars, secure with tape & trim the excess.
3. Decorate (if you like!)
4. Punch a small hole on the outside edge of your toilet rolls about 1/2 inch from the top.
5. Measure & cut string for your strap then thread and tie through each hole.

You’re ready to head out on safari! Play “I spy,” peer out the window, or simply lay down and look up at the clouds!
