Slime

What was good enough for me as a kid is definitely good enough now! 3 ingredients, so many options for imaginative play and a little Science lesson while you’re at it.

You will need:
⋒ Cornflour
⋒ Water
⋒ Measuring cup
⋒ Food colouring
⋒ Bowls, spoons, jugs

1. In a jug, pour in 1 cup of water, add a few drops of food colouring & mix.
2. In a larger bowl, pour in 2 cups of cornflour.
3. Slowly add the coloured water to the cornflour, mixing & glooping it as you go!

Add more water/cornflour as you need. The rest is up to you!
Pop a tarp or sheet down to make clean-up a little easier.
Is it a liquid or a solid? Knead it into a big lump & watch it gradualllyyyy lose its shape. When you move your fingers slowly through the slime it acts like a liquid but if you punch or squeeze, it behaves like a solid.

Very cool! Have fun!
