Loo Roll Butterflies

A popular theme in our house, here is another crafty butterfly for you to try.

You will need:
⋒ Toilet rolls/kitchen roll cut in 1/2
⋒ Scissors
⋒ Paints
⋒ Pencil
⋒ Pipe cleaners

1. Paint your rolls. Try to avoid colours that will mix & make sludgy brown!
2. Once dry, flatten your roll so it is easy to draw on & cut.
3. Draw a half butterfly shape (pictured).
4. Cut out your shape, also cutting a small sliver off the top wing crease to separate the wings.
5. Open up your butterfly.
6. Bend your pipe cleaner around the middle of your butterfly, twisting it securely to create a head & antennae (trim if necessary). Your butterfly is ready!
